WHEATHAMPSTEAD HORTCULTURAL SOCIETY HAS EMBRACED ZOOM!

Join us, FREE, on Wednesday 3rd February at 7.45 for a talk start of 8pm.

Since the middle of last year we have been enjoying talks from speakers from near and wide, taking advantage of the fact that with Zoom it is irrelevant where speakers are located.

In January we even had a speaker from Massachusetts!

On Wednesday our speaker is Mandy Bradshaw, who is again based well out of our area.

Mandy is a qualified journalist and life-long gardener based in the Cotswolds. She writes articles for newspapers, magazines and websites, she runs social media accounts for gardening firms and blog at The Chatty Gardener. She gives talks across the Cotswolds and is also part of the Gloucestershire NGS team. She also won Garden Journalist of the Year 2018 in the Property Press Awards.

Her talk is entitled- “Beyond the Garden Gate – my guide to Cotswolds Gardens”, where she will take us to some hidden gems of Cotswold gardens.

If you have found it difficult to come to our meetings in the Memorial Hall in the past perhaps this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for to join us from the comfort of your own home – kids in bed, glass of wine in hand?!

We welcome anyone who would like to Zoom in,
just email whortsoc@gmail.com
and we will send you the link and full details.
